allow attorneys to upload their pacer documents
Attorneys currently have millions of pacer documents they have downloaded to their office servers of there own cases for the past few years. Is there a way you can allow attorneys to share these public documents that they have already downloaded prior to Recap starting?

Have Recap turn on when clicking on email links
When attorneys file documents on Pacer they are sent an email notification with a link to a free look at the document. Currently Recap does not recognize the user logging into Pacer for this free look by clicking the link in the email. Recap would upload numerous times more of files if this feature was added.

create an internet explorer version
It would be really great to have an internet explorer version of RECAP, but we don't have the expertise to create it. If anybody out there is good at programming IE extensions, we've figured out most of the tough PACER integration questions and can help.

Implement manual "update" button/form for individual cases to avoid 24h wait for recapthelaw update
How about a button/link/form somewhere on recapthelaw that would allow you to manually initiate an update for a specific case (or, say, up to five cases if you are ambitious)?
For example: After uploading docs to http://www.archive.org/details/gov.uscourts.wvnd.27168, I would *really* like to be able to initiate an update on recapthelaw of just that case, meaning to build/rebuild the recapthelaw summary page and links that you would expect to find at http://archive.recapthelaw.org/wvnd/27168/ .
For cases in which the summary page already exists on recapthelaw, you could include an "update from archive.org" link/button, and for new cases, a form that lets…

Free Court Dockets
It looks like freecourtdockets.com lets anyone get free Pacer dockets. What's that about? I did not enter my Pacer info. Looks like you only need Pacer accoun to access filings. Would be great if Recap worked on freecourtdocket's docket sheets.

Capture bankruptcy claims
Bankruptcy cases provide a report of all claims filed by creditors. Can recap capture this report and the attached claims? Example case: NCMB 1:10-bk-82315

Incomplete docket reports for text only electronic orders
Checking a case in the Massachusetts District I found that the docket report on archive.org did not keep the text only electronic orders that were in PACER. The MAD PACER appears to differ from the others in that it provides no document number for those, which is probably why RECAP misses them.

Bug Report: Documents not being saved when linked from archive.recapthelaw.org
When you click on the "Buy from PACER" link on a docket from archive.recapthelaw.org the document does not get saved by RECAP. For an example click on items 70 or 71 at http://archive.recapthelaw.org/cand/208758/ which are available from PACER at no charge.

provide a feed of recently acquired documents
I would love to do some interesting projects with the information provided by RECAP, like creating a service that notifies people of constitutional challenges to statutes, or allowing users to find cases currently under litigation by watching for references to particular statutes in briefs. But for these sorts of projects to be useful, there would need a feed of recently added documents, or at a minimum, a list of cases that have been updated recently.

HL-2 Notify before uploading anything
I think a lot of people are a little concerned about the automatic uploading - I think there should be a warning option that says:
"You are about to upload this page to RECAP - Yes -No"

HL-3 Include Hot Link to CM/ECF Documents in RECAP version of Docket sheet
It would be nice to include a hot-link to a document on the CM/ECF system, if the document has yet to be uploaded to RECAP. Just link to the unique ECF number for the document. This way you can capture documents easily and also one does not need to go onto Pacer, create a docket report, etc. and then download. Also, have a link directly to the ECF Docket report screen so one can obtain an updated docket. You could even feed in the last date on your version of the docket report to make updating easy and quick to…

Fix HTTP Header / Filename on "free look" downloads
Jim reported some odd behavior with Firefox apparently trying to display the raw text of PDFs inline because PACER doesn't send them properly. Maybe we can fix this.

It would be great if there was a RECAP Extension for Safari users.

Create a button / ad for webmasters / bloggers to include on sites to help create awareness of RECAP
Create a button / banner ad for webmasters and bloggers to include on their sites - particularly those that might deal with caselaw and court documents.

Show available docs in archived docket
Great new feature in v0.7 showing docket but it doesn't indicate which docs are available in archive, unlike when you do a live docket search. If you can add it for pacer, can you add it for archive.org docket lists.

Close Recap white download box by hitting escape
Could you please set it so the white Recap download box could go away by hitting escape? While doing a lot of research and keyboard notetaking, it would be nice to not have to go back to the mouse.
